Lamborn’s Studio was founded before the turn of the century (that’s the 20th century) in Athens, Ohio. It became Lamborn’s Studio and Custom Framing in the 1940’s after being purchased by Darrel Tom, Master Photographer. It has been in the Tom family ever since and is now being run by Fred C. and Christine M. Tom. It is currently located in an 11,000 square foot gallery on State Street that was originally built in the 1920’s as an automobile dealership; the building was restored to near mint condition in the 80’s when we relocated here. It has a lovely old tile floor in the front that was the automobile showroom and a large open gallery and a one thousand square foot photography studio with a great variety of backgrounds, props and sets. Because we also have an antique business at the gallery, much of the studio furniture includes lovely antique pieces. We have a beautifully landscaped parking lot close by and our facility is completely handicapped accessible.
