Phil began his business career in service over 29 years ago and has always been with Chevrolet, starting out in the car wash, then a purchasing agent and consultant before taking the position of Service Manager over 15 years ago. He worked with Glenway for over 21 of those years. The people of Glenway Auto Center are good people to work with and it's also a plus having a good business partner. Having had the position of Service Manager he has the ability to fix people's problems and has a base of many great long time customers. Married to his wife Jan for more than 21 years, they have a boy, Philip who is just starting in the business.
Mark began working in the family business at the age of 14, taking inventory in the parts department, working his way through the ranks until becoming the General Manager at age 24. Mark bought out the business and controlled all aspects and departments until its GM targeted closing in November of 2009. Over the years he served as President of the Cincinnati Auto Dealers Association, President of the Cincinnati Chevy Dealers, was on the board of Ohio Automotive Dealer Association, served as Chairman for Xavier University's “All for One” campaign and was Chairman of Phase II Capital Campaign for Bayley Place. After the close of the dealership, Mark and Phil Purkiser joined partners to open the Glenway Auto Center which services all makes and models of vehicles. Mark is married to his wife Joy for almost 16 years and they have raised five children together. They are now proud grandparents of three grandsons, Shane 10, Ben 10 and Bradyn 1. Mark and Joy love to travel and enjoy their pets, 2 dogs, 1 canary and 1 red Lorie parrot.
