Student leaders and faculty advisors from the local student ASID chapters from Virginia Marti College of Art & Design and other colleges were able to meet and socialize with the ASID Ohio North Chapter Board on Friday, October 23rd. They were welcomed with an enticing showroom and presentation, courtesy of Marty Bursky, Cleveland Lighting, Industry Partner ASID. Thank you Cleveland Lighting for hosting the Fall Mixer!

Jesse Jusek and Christopher Randall were featured on Good Company to talk about the Positive Space event.

Please join us on Saturday, November 13 from 4-6PM for our Open House featuring guest speakers Laurence Gartel – 'Father of Digital Art,' Project Runway Star Valerie Mayen, and Legendary Illustrator Derek Hess. Learn more about all of our degree programs: Digital Media, Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Graphic Design, and Interior Design. We will also have portfolio reviews by industry professionals from American Greetings.

On November 13th, regional designers and students will come together to celebrate the creative mindset at Virginia Marti College of Art and Design! There will be speakers from the design industry, live music, a display of students' work, and an after party at the Phantasy (11802 Detroit Ave Lakewood).

Social Media Lab October 12th – November 14th
The Social Media Lab was designed to be the "think tank" on social media for Cleveland, OH. The Social Media lab is a partnership between Virginia Marti College and the Lab.

The purpose of the Lab is to establish a citadel of thought on all issues regarding social media and how businesses and individuals could use social media to improve their business opportunities. The Lab is a one of kind environment where business owners, managers and individuals can not only learn from some of the brightest minds in social media but actually get to implement, in real time, the strategies being discussed.
