WELCOME TO PHYSICIANS AMBULANCE

Physicians Ambulance provides both emergency and non emergency transportation within Cuyahoga County, Ohio and beyond, serving approximately 37,000 patients annually. We provide two core services; EMS (Ambulance) and Wheelchair (Ambulette).

Physicians operates 13 ambulances from two base sites within Cuyahoga County, both East and West sides. Our modern fleet of vehicles is equipped with the current technology and the best equipment in order to ensure our patients receive the best quality of care possible. Physicians paramedics are personally trained by our medical director, and are all state certified EMS providers. We are fully licensed by the State of Ohio, Medical Transportation Board to provide advanced life support (ALS) and basic life support (BLS) within the State. Our medical treatment and transport protocols reflect current industry standards and trends, allowing our Paramedics to safely, accurately and effectively treat our patients.
We are equipped to provide safe medical transportation from emergency care and stabilization, to a simple non-emergent transport of bed confined patient for a doctors evaluation.

Physicians operates 13 wheelchair vans for non-emergent transportation of wheelchair patients for appointments and procedures. Each vehicle in our wheelchair fleet is inspected yearly by the Ohio Medical Transportation Board and well maintained to assure the safety of our patients. Our wheelchair attendants are trained and certified as well as under go rigorous background and driving checks.
