Due to the number of different strains, there is not a vaccine available that will guarantee protection for your pet. Occasionally, pets will react to the vaccine, itself.

We understand how important proper sanitation and ventilation are in the attempt to control the spread of Bordetella. We have designed our facility and trained our staff with this in mind. As always, your veterinarian is in the best position to evaluate your pet's individual health and risk factors, and recommend a preventative care plan.

Nestled peacefully in the hillside, this quiet country location offers the ultimate spot for a pet vacation. Glenn and Gail Burket have realized a lifelong dream in combining their years of canine experience in the development of Oakshadows.
We offer a full range of services, including Boarding Accommodations, Grooming Salon, and Pet Supplies for dogs and cats. In addition, we offer Pet Training in Obedience, Rally, Conformation, Agility, and Canine Good Citizen as well as private lessons. We also offer the use of our private library filled with pet-related books, an outdoor fenced agility course, and six 300 foot long, securely fenced exercise yards. You and your pet can spend some worry-free quality time outdoors, burning off some of that pent up energy.
Our spacious canopy entrance welcomes you warmly in any weather. Nearby managers and electronic security assure a maximum in protection and special care.
Tours are welcome Monday thru Saturday, 10AM - 5PM. We would love to meet with you and show you our facility.
