HAPPILY EVER AFTER
This is it, Minnie, the end of our writing partnership. You and Vinnie have been a great help, but it’s time to move on. As I told you last week, everything has to come to an end.
You’re right, boss; you always are, but I’m going to miss writing these articles with you each week. Are you sure you’re able to do this without me?
I don’t know, Minnie. I hope people will continue to read what I have to say, but I must confess that it won't be as much fun without you. I’ve enjoyed writing with you and Vinnie, but after nearly five years of doing this every week, I think I need some fresh ideas.
You won’t get an argument from me, boss. I thought you were getting a little stale, if you don’t mind my saying so. And if you need any assistance, you know I will be here to give you help.
Thanks, Minnie, I appreciate the offer, but what are you going to do, now that you won’t be writing.
