The Counseling Center is pleased to announce the addition of Vera Astreika, M.D. to the psychiatry program. Dr. Astreika graduated with honors from Gomel State Medical Institute in Belarus and completed her residency training at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland in adult psychiatry.
Dr. Astreika will be working full time in the Wooster office. She will begin seeing patients at the end of the month with priority attention to existing Counseling Center clients who have been on a waiting list for psychiatric service. New requests for psychiatric service must be pre-screened by a member of the Centers professional counseling, social work or psychology staff prior to scheduling.
