The Medina County Bar Association (MCBA) seeks to promote public understanding of the legal system and the role of lawyers as well as to promote a spirit of professionalism and collegiality its members.
The Association membership also provides affordable continuing legal education offerings, quarterly luncheons with speakers of note, social activities, a variety of committee opportunities and a periodic newsletter.
The Medina County Bar Association offers the community a Lawyer Referral Service to assist citizens in finding an attorney to serve their legal needs. Attorneys participating in the Referral Service agree to provide thirty minutes of consultation for a fee of $25.
The Medina County Bar Association also has a certified grievance committee. The committee is charged with the responsibility of considering complaints about attorneys. The committee is comprised of attorneys as well as non-lawyers and meets regularly.
The Medina County Bar Association is also committed to supporting community groups and charitable organizations. The Association and many of its members contribute their time as well as finances to a variety of charities, including those that are closely related to the legal field.
