Everything, from bread and pasta to potato chips to cheesecake, is made on the premises from scratch. Fish and seafood arrive fresh daily. The eclectic entrees, which change frequently, are listed on a large blackboard in the dining room. The printed tavern menu contains appetizers, salads and sandwiches. The afters are listed on another chalkboard, this one on wheels so it can be rolled to your table in place of the ubiquitous dessert cart loaded with Madame Tussaud's finest. "In terms of philosophy, Schneider says she "likes to still keep it warm and fuzzy," rather than creating sculptured plates that barely resemble food. Smoking is no longer permitted. Corkage is $10 if you have that special bottle! Tavern menu is available upon request in the dining room. There will be a $2 surcharge for some substitutions at "Chef's discretion." We cater all events, big or small. We are happy to accommodate any requests with 48 hours notice.
