For nineteen years, Sharyl W. Ginther has limited her practice to Family Law issues in Summit County: dissolution, divorce, legal separation, paternity, custody, child support, step-parent adoption. She was elected by her peers as Chair of the Family Law Section of the Akron Bar Association and has as a constant goal working well with other family law attorneys for the benefit of her clients.

She graduated from Miami University with a B.S.Ed. cum laude and from the University of Akron School of Law cum laude.

Prior to practicing law, she was a public high school teacher and an active member of her community serving as president of Mobile Meals Board of Directors and president of the Summit County Medical Society Auxilliary (nka Alliance). She has also served on the Ronald McDonald House Board of Trustees and is an active participant in several Akron Bar Association subcommittees.
