New California Law Regarding Disclosure Forms and CRAs (10/5/10)
This bill will require a person who procures or causes to be prepared an investigative consumer report for employment purposes to provide a consumer with the web site address or telephone number of the investigative consumer reporting agency where the consumer may find additional information about the agency's privacy practices.

UPDATE: California Governor Vetoes AB 482 (9/27/10)
Late last week, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger vetoed California AB 482, a bill that was intended to ban employers from using credit reports to deny employment, with some exceptions.
