I am grateful to our Father, Who daily holds this school and guides us through the great task He has set before us -- to continue to nourish this school, progress academically, spiritually, and technologically, and to grow numerically. Founded in love, rooted in the Word, and centered on Christ, all we do and teach is designed to provide our children with an excellent academic foundation while preparing them for a life of service to the Lord and others.
Raising up young men and women of God is an awesome and blessed responsibility. It is not taken lightly. The Lord has entrusted us with these, His precious children, and He holds us accountable for each one.
"Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God." (Eph. 5:1-2) To God be all glory and honor forever.
"Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'"
Children are such wonderful missionaries for Jesus. In their innocence, they are not bashful about their faith and share it readily. In their example, we find part of the meaning Jesus had in mind when He says, "The kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Child-like faith that trusts unquestionably is a gift of the Holy Spirit. Here at Temple Christian, we encourage children in their faith-walk as they learn more and more about their wonderful Savior and about living out that faith among their classmates.
