Over the course of a lifetime, most people experience some type of foot problem. It may be as simple as a blister, a callus, or something complicated enough to require hospitalization. Though the majority of foot problems can be serious in degree, they are relatively routine in nature.
BOB JOHNS, our area's most experienced 'Licensed' Pedorthist, uses footwear to help ease foot problems. As a certified Pedorthist (C. Ped), Bob works as part of the health care system, dispensing footwear to assist people in remaining as mobile as possible.
He is someone who manufactures and dispenses products to relieve pain or discomfort that may be due to birth defects, trauma, disease or improper footwear. Bob works with physicians and uses their prescriptions to make orthodics, modify shoes, fix ankle/foot orthosis or to correct orthopedic footwear.
Bob and his staff have the ability to make molded inserts that directly mold to the clients foot. This process has helped many clients to overcome the pain or discomfort of diabetics, arthritics, people with hammer toes, fallen arches or misshapen feet.
