BFR (Bluffton Family Recreation) Sports and Fitness facility, Bluffton, OH.... affordable, convenient, quality! Sport, exercise, and recreational programs for youth and adults- beginners and the "elite." Fitness Center, Gymnasium, Indoor Track, Turf Arena are all available. Programs and leagues are open to the public. Membership is required to use the fitness center (14 years of age or older).

Fitness Classes continue as scheduled; new participants are welcome anytime!

Family nights are scheduled for the 3rd Friday (7-9PM)- November 19 .

Stick to It Membership Special is Back... Purchase a 1 month membership (ages 14 years and older), complete 12 BFR workouts within that month and receive another month membership for FREE!! The 1st month membership must be purchased by November 30 to qualify!!

TRACK PASSES available for indoor walking/running. Looking for a safe, warm and friendly place to walk/run this winter??? Check out the affordable Track Pass option, by clicking the Membership button above.

Personal Training Options- Members and non-members alike are welcome to schedule individual or small group training sessions. Cost is very affordable and appointments are available during the day or evening.

Ultimate Fit begins December 6th..... evening sessions are at 7PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The morning session will meet at 5:30AM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Monthly Fee is $50 ($30 BFR members) per session Ultimate Fit includes 12 sessions per month of group workouts under the direction of a BFR trainer; Ultimate Fit is not appropriate for everyone, ask for more information.

TIP-OFF Festival- BFR will host its first annual Tip-Off Festival for boys ands girls 5th and 6th grade. The Festival will be help December 18th (Boys) and December 19th (Girls) Click on the Basketball button above for more information and registration form.

The EDGE Youth Sports Conditioning- Designed for out-of-season athletes to work on individual speed, strength and agility needs. Packages of 8,12,16, 24 sessions are available.

BFR is proud to be part of the Silver Sneakers Network for Senior Adults. Check your Medicare supplemental insurance coverage to see if your policy includes this free membership option!

Help support the operations of BFR with two fun events for the family. BFR is a private, not-for-profit organization (501c3).

Annual Giving Campaign- THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE GIVEN IN 2009- almost $20,000 was pledged during the campaign.. Members and special friends have been asked to make a small donation to support the never-ending needs of our non-profit organization and facility. The original portion of the BFR facility was built in 1995 so wear and tear is catching up. The "new" addition, built in 2000, will soon be 10 years old!!! Thank you in advance for your support! Established in 1978, BFR is a private, non-profit organization serving the fitness and
recreation needs of Bluffton, Ohio and surrounding communities. BFR programs, leagues,
and classes are open to both members and guests. Use of the fitness center, however, is restricted
to BFR members over the age of 14 years.

2010-2011 Board of Directors: Andrew Van Horn (President), Cathy Kaus (Vice-President), Beth Boehr (Secretary), Wally Buroker, Mike Coffman, Joe Duling, Wes Klinger (Treasurer), Rebecca Oaks, Todd Schmutz, Dan Settlage, Bill Theisen. Any concerns regarding the operations of BFR can be forwarded to the board of directors.

Regular Hours: Monday through Friday 5:30AM-9PM, Saturday 8AM-9PM (close at 5PM through September), Sunday 1-5PM
****Fitness Center is open until 10PM on Mondays and Wednesdays!
