O.K. We all know we are supposed to say "Thank you". As children, whenever someone gives us something or does something for us our parents were usually close by to ask "What do you say?" and it wasnt long before we learned to answer "Thank you". In time, hopefully, the response came automatically without reminders. As we mature, true gratitude should permeate our entire being we begin to live our lives as a thankful response to all that has been given to us. We come to an awareness which is best expressed by Martin Luther in his explanation of the first article of the Apostles Creed:
