Who We Are
Alvord Agency was founded by Paul Alvord in 1937. Paul's son, Jim Alvord, took the business over when Paul passed away and later went into business with his son, Jim Alvord, Jr. In 1975, Dave Hottenstein partnered with the Alvords and became sole owner after Jim Alvord, Sr. retired and Jim Jr. pursued other interest. Dave carries the same traditions that the Alvord family set out to do, delivering excellent customer service while supporting the local community and providing them with several home, health, and life insurance options.
