Thanks to the readers of West Shore Magazine for voting our Rocky River store as the Best of the West in the Bike Shop category in 2010!

Here's what a recent customer had to say about her experience in our store:
I was one of a group of 30 women who cycled on the Underground Railroad Route last May and made a stop at the Peninsula store...They were awesome. The shop was incredibly well equipped and had lots of neat stuff for us to buy (that is the idea, right?!!)...The guys who worked there treated us women very, very well (as opposed to some other shops where we were seen as a bunch of idiots, and several were ripped off). You all even oohed and aahed over the gorgeous bikes that some of the women had! -- Anne from Tennessee

Fore-And-Aft Seat Position Is Important, Too - For optimum comfort and pedaling efficiency, position your saddle so that when your crankarms and pedals are parallel to the ground, a plumb line dropped from the bony protrusion just below your forward knee either bisects, or falls 1 to 2 centimeters behind the pedal axle. This setting varies according to personal preference and riding position. For example, if you like to pedal fast (95 rpm plus), place the plumb line directly over the pedal axle. If you pedal more slowly (80 to 90 rpm), you'll probably prefer the slightly rearward setting.
