Doug started his glassblowing career in 1989 when he was trained to be aneon tubender at a neon shop in Huron, OH. After working as a neontubender for 3 years Doug went out to New Jersey to take ScientificGlassblowing at Salem Comm. College in Carney’s Point, NJ. He then wenton to work in the glass shop at Aldrich Chemical Co. and at Lab Glass inKingsport, TN. After moving back home to Ohio, Doug teamed up withbusiness partner Eli Coury to start NavCour Glassware in Bay Village,OH
