New Program Coordinator Position Established
We proudly announce that Leslie Pinto has been named as the Centers Program Coordinator. In this newly-created position, Leslie is charged with evaluating and monitoring the Centers current instruction programs, including classes and workshops, and will help launch new classes and workshops to ensure that the Center is meeting all of its students wants and needs.
Ms. Pinto holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education from the University of Dayton (Ohio) and a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Emmanuel College (Boston, MA). She has extensive art teaching experience both as a private instructor and in public school settings in addition to her volunteer service on numerous community events and fundraisers. Before returning to Ohio, she was also an adjunct professor at Coker College and a teaching member of the Blackcreek Arts Council, both in Hartsville, South Carolina, in which she instructed adult students.
This position was recently established by the Board of Governors to help strengthen the Centers curriculum by evaluating present offerings and discovering missing subject matter to develop a more comprehensive variety of programs. Please join us in welcoming Leslie to this most important position and in wishing her a long and happy association
with the Center.
