Pastor Glenn's Proverbs Commentary
Proverbs show us the greatness of God and the goodness of godliness in surprising ways. This devotional commentary explains the text and takes you to the Gospel!
We are: Church of the Covenant, A Member of the Presbyterian Church in America
The LORD God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is not fickle; his ways do not change. Thus ours is an ancient faith, the same that was once for all delivered to the saints. We are not about reinventing church or re-imagining the deity.
But while the faith remains the same, we must be revived, refreshed, recreated, and reformed—with a living and enduring hope. This is the way opened by Jesus, a new and living way into the holy place of God. Through the work and grace of the promised Messiah, we draw near to God with a true heart in full assurance of faith.
We warmly and sincerely invite you to experience God’s grace with us. You can find out more about Church of the Covenant through this web site, but we really look forward to meeting you face-to-face and greeting you personally in the name of the Lord. Please join us for church services this Sunday morning at 9:30. We plan to be there, and God promises to be with his people as we honor him through the grace of Jesus and in the power of the Holy Spirit. Until we meet, may the joy of the Lord be your strength.
A Praying Life: Connecting With God in a Distracting World, by Paul Miller.
“Learning to pray doesn’t offer us a less busy life; it offers us a less busy heart,” (p. 23).
