Every Monday and Friday is now dedicated to basic technique and the fundamentals of Aikido.
Please let us know if you are interested in daytime classes!
Structure: The first half hour will be devoted to explanations, warmups, learning basic aikido movements and beginning rolling at a slower pace.
The second half hour will be devoted to learning one technique and introductory multi-person evasion practice.
Also the third half hour will be available (not required) if you want to review/work through what you just learned, on your own, with instructors available to answer questions and guide you. Your choice to stay or leave.

Founded in 1993, the Aikido School of Central Ohio is lead by Claude Geeroms, 5th degree black belt, Stephen Webb, 3rd degree black belt, Jeremy King, 3rd degree black belt, and Tom Krumroy, 3rd degree black belt.
The Aikido School of Columbus is a member of The Aikido Schools of Ueshiba headed by Master Instructor (Shihan) Mitsugi Saotome. Saotome Sensei studied Aikido under its founder, Professor Morihei Ueshiba, for many years at the Hombu Dojo (the original founding school of Aikido, located in Tokyo, Japan.) In 1974, Saotome Sensei came to the United States to build his own school. Today there are over one hundred member dojos in the Aikido Schools of Ueshiba. The ASU is affiliated with the Aikido World Headquarters and Aikikai Foundation in Tokyo, Japan.
