USA Martial Arts Southwest open on January 1, 2002 as "Southwest Martial Arts" we later adapted the USA Martial Arts Training Center name to fit our needs with the assistance of Master Jarrett president of the USA Martial Arts Federation and Chong Shin Tae Kwon Do Karate Association who's system of Martial Arts we have been studying since the early 1990's and now teach.
Our Curriculum includes training in traditional self-defense methods of:
Taekwondo: Korean striking art "Way of the hands and feet"
Karatedo: Japanese striking art "Way of empty hand"
Judo/Jujutsu: Japanese grappling art "Gentle way"
Aikido: Japanese art of joint locking, pinning throwing "Way of harmony"
Kobudo: Okinawan art of weapons training "Old martial ways"
Iaido: Japanese art of drawing the sword "Way of drawing"
With over 30 years of combined teaching experience, we are eager to help you continue or start your martial arts training. Whether your interests are Olympic sport karate, traditional martial arts, or practical self-protection, our instructors have the knowledge and experience to assist you.
