November 15, November 16, November 17
We are very excited to have Alice Camille, a nationally known writer, religious educator, and parish retreat leader, lead our Parish Mission next week. She will present “Saved by the Story” on Monday. Learn how the Bible is both divine word and a sacred story—and how both have the amazing power to save!
At Tuesday’s sessions, Alice will address the questions “What Does It Mean to Be Church?” and “Are We There Yet?”
“Sacred Story and Your Story” will be the topic for the last day of our Parish Mission, Wednesday, November 17. Plan to join us this week and be spiritually nourished! There will be morning mission talks after the 8:30 a.m. Masses and evening sessions from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. on Monday, November 15, Tuesday, November 16 and Wednesday, November 17. Please invite a friend! Everyone is welcome! All sessions will be held in the church.
Bring a Turkey to Church on November 20-21
The Holy Rosary/St. John Partnership Committee at St. Paul’s will once again sponsor the annual "Bring A Turkey To Church” collection in just a few weeks. Your generous donations of FROZEN Thanksgiving turkeys will be collected before and after every Mass on Nov. 20/21. All frozen turkeys will be given to our friends at The Community Kitchen at Holy Rosary/St. John. Thanks to your generosity in the past, we have collected enough turkeys for their Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday meals and well into the coming year!
Beginning the weekend of November 6 and 7, the Bereavement Ministry of St. Paul’s will sponsor a “Remembrance Board” in the vestibule of the church and the breezeway of the Activities Center. We invite our fellow parishioners to place pictures of their deceased loved ones on this display. We ask that the pictures be no larger than 3” x 5” and that you place your name, address, and phone number on the back of the picture. There will be paper available to identify your loved one, if you wish. If you do not have an available picture, your loved one’s name can be written on special scrolls on the board instead. Finally, please remove your pictures from the display by November 21. Although we cannot be responsible for your pictures, we hope that many parishioners decide to take this opportunity to remember their deceased loved ones in this special way. Thank you!

GOSPEL ROAD BLANKET & COAT DRIVE
Our St. Vincent de Paul Conference and our Youth Ministry will be working together to collect new and gently used blankets, coats, gloves, scarves and hats and other clothing items for our Gospel Road friends in Crank's Creek, Kentucky. This drive will be held during
the weekend masses of December 11 and 12. Please plan now to support our young people as they strive to put into action the teachings of the Gospels. If each family donates one blanket, not only will our collection truck be full, but more importantly, those who suffer through the wicked winter conditions of rural Kentucky will know they are loved. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

FAIR TRADE COFFEE
Here in the United States, coffee is a 20 billion dollar a year industry. Did you know that 70% of all coffee grown comes from small family farmers in third world nations? Approximately 100 million people dedicate their livelihood on one of these small coffee farms. By buying Fair Trade coffee you are supporting these farmers and enabling them to receive a fair price for the coffee they harvest. Were you aware that coffee is only harvested once a year? By purchasing the Fair Trade products through Catholic Relief Services (CRS), you are assisting the farmers in obtaining credit to support their families between the annual harvest seasons. Fair Trade Coffee and chocolate is now available in the Marian Gift Shop. Thank you in advance for your support of this important cause.
