The Learning Place History & Staff
The Learning Place has been in business for 36 years, serving Mason and the surrounding areas. Our school has been featured in many local newspaper articles as an experienced institution, and this is demonstrated on a daily basis by our professional and caring teaching staff. The director, Carol Lawson, has been with The Learning Place for 25 years and teacher Janine McKinney has been with The Learning Place for30 years. Two other teachers have 10+ years with the school.
The Learning Place Mission
Our mission is to provide a caring atmosphere that values every child and encourages learning, creativity, self-expression and wholesome interactions with others. Our goal is to create a curriculum that enhances the child’s growth, learning accomplishments and adequately prepares them to begin elementary school.
