I'm glad that you've taken the time to visit our website. If you don't go any further than this message I want you to know that Springboro Baptist exists to help you discover who God is and what He can do with your life. He already knows all about you, now He wants you to get to know Him on a personal basis. If you live in our area, or are in the process of relocating to the Miami Valley, let us help you on your journey to get to know God better. At Springboro Baptist you won't find perfect people, but you will find people who are learning that Christianity is a way of life and that a relationship with Jesus Christ can be enjoyed every day of the week, not just on Sundays.
Seven is the number of churches that Jesus directly addressed in Revelation 2 & 3. That text will be the focus of our study for eight weeks. It should be both personal and practical. It's personal because the church is nothing more than a collection of individuals who have placed their trust in Jesus Christ. Anything He says to the church, He says to each of us personally.
The study will be practical because it's message is as current (and more accurate) than today's newspaper. The following quote from Dr. David Jeremiah helps put this in perspective. "God thinks churches are important and when He gave John the vision, it was almost as if He were looking through a magnifying glass at our churches today . . . Jesus wrote seven letters to seven literal churches in Asia Minor during the first century . . . These churches were real; people attended services in them and listened to the messages. Although the letters were written in the first century, they apply to our contemporary churches and have personal value to every believer."
Join us beginning October 3 for a study in one of the most mysterious and fascinating books of the Bible.
