La Copa Caban-A is a 30-foot BAHA™ Fisherman built in 1998, and is fully equipped with a private marine head, ship-to-shore radio, G.P.S. plotter, and fish locater. (Coolers aboard for your catch.) The top priority of our captain and crew is ensuring that you have a unique and lively trip in a safe and comfortable environment, which is why we only take up to six people out at a time.
The Summer of '73Our owner, William Caban, first fell in love with Catawba Island during a striking sunrise in 1973. Since then he has been living and fishing at Catawba Island and the surrounding area. William has been sharing his passion for this charming area through his charter boat business for the past 25 years.

Walleye and Smallmouth Bass FishingFor walleyes, we drift fish and troll depending on the time of year, and you'll love the fight involved in catching smallmouth bass. Our experts organize our charter boat trips so that you are guaranteed to catch fish on every outing. And, although you are welcome to bring your own gear, we supply top-quality fishing equipment as part of your package.
Yellow Perch Fishing
Yellow perch are tasty and plentiful in Lake Erie, and make for a great fishing trip. Perch fishing is always anchored and this excursion is priced at $360.00, including bait, lures, and ice.
