This is certainly an exciting time in our industry with new products and programs being introduced on a regular basis. Here are some of the current highlights:
iGo e-app You can now submit an application to certain companies right here from our website. To see a demonstration, click on the link on this page.
External term conversions We have several companies that will accept a term conversion from one company into their own products. Among these are AVIVA, MetLife, Mutual of Omaha, and Transamerica.
Protective/West Coast Life - ModLife is a graded premium UL with a guaranteed death benefit to age 120. ROSCO is a rider that returns all the substandard premiums on a ProClassic UL in the 20th year. Secure T is the new term insurance on a UL chassis, resulting in lower premiums on the 25 and 30 year terms. Also, the Secure T is convertable to Centennial G II Plus and ModLife. CIAR is similar to an LTC rider but structured for Critical Illness. It is available on the ProClassic UL.
John Hancock - The all new Performance UL and Performance SUL bring flexibility back to Universal Life. Low cost premiums, Cash Accumulation and Guarantees to life expectancy* Policy remains in force and builds cash value sufficient to carry it to age 121 under current rates. These products give clients the opportunity for upside potential if interest rates go up, yet still provide downside protection guarantees. The LTC Rider can be added for about the same cost as a Guaranteed UL and protects the insured against the high cost of long term care.
Nationwide - Often overlooked in the brokerage community, Nationwide is an industry leader in underwriting and also offers an LTC rider that deserves a look.

Genworth - The new SecureLiving RateSaver Annuity is different from most SPDAs and offers attractive rates and features. It is an MYGA with initial lengths of 5 or 7 years, RMD friendly, issued up to age 85. Also, Genworth offers a UL with a face amount down to $25,000. Of course, Genworths heritage is one of low-cost term insurance.

Ohio Well Represented at ProEquities Leaders Conference in Boston
Congratulations to the Representatives listed below (in alphabetical order) who attended the recent ProEquities convention held at the famous Fairmont Copley Hotel in Boston. In order to qualify for the convention, a representative had to be among the top 100 producers. Ohio accounted for 10% of the qualifiers.
