Pond Maintenance Pricing
Beginning in 2006 Basic Lawn Care began offering ornamental pond care and pond supplies in addition to our mowing, maintenance, gutter cleaning and fall leaf cleanups. We are a fully insured landscape care company with liability and workman's compensation insurance.
Pond Maintenance Supplies Options
1. You can purchase your own pond chemicals/bacteria at the store of your choice.
2. Conveniently buy them online by emailing us at blcman_93@yahoo.com
3. We will advise you on what to use and purchase it for you.
Pond Cleanup And Maintenance Pricing Options
All pricing is for the average size pond of 15x20. We will set up a custom care schedule for your particular pond according to size, plants, fish and your maintenance needs.
Full year contract for the average 15x20 pond : contactus for pricing it includes the following:
Spring opening cleanup in April, remove netting , put in pump if removed, empty and clean pond with power washer and put in spring opening chemicals or bacteria
Fall closing cleanup, applying your netting before leaf fall, cleaning out any leaves, putting in your fall prep chemicals or bacteria.
Bi-weekly visits (15 visits) from May until November closing to clean out skimmer, clean out any surface debris or algae, clean skimmer filter and put in your required maintenance chemicals or natural bacteria products.
2. Both Spring and Fall cleanups: Call for pricing includes Spring and Fall closing as stated above in full year contract. This does NOT include any additional visits.

4. Hourly Cleanups and visits: Call for pricing, 1 hour minimum.

We highly recommend these natural products over chemical products because we believe that working with nature is the best way to keep your plants and wildlife happy. They simply....work! There is no worrying about killing fish, water plant life or pets drinking from the pond. We use Microbe-Lift PL in our display ponds to keep them crystal clear throughout the season. Barley Extract is another all natural pond control. Much more effective and esthetically pleasing than the Barley Mats. Another great product is Microbe -Lift SAB (sludge away booster) this is an excellent treatment for string algae. No matter how well you take care of your ponds eco system, string algae rears its ugly head when the conditions are just right. This is the right product to take care of it without chemicals. We will be using this product in addition to Microbe-Lift PL in our display ponds.
