Our day care was founded in 1991 and has educated hundreds of children since
it's inception. Dave Shepherd, a home builder and land developer recognized the
great need for Child Care in the Merriman Valley was not being met. He wanted
to have an excellent facility not only for his grandchildren and the children of his
employees, but to also serve the residents and others employed in and around
this growing area.

Mary Harold, the director of Valley Kids since 1991, has dedicated her life to
educating and enriching the lives of the children enrolled at Valley Kids She
has built a quality and caring staff, a kindergarten enrichment program and a
safe transportation program for school age children.

We average 45 children enrolled each day. Our goal is not only a safe and clean
environment but one that stresses key elements and interpersonal skills, which
contribute to your child's development, self esteem and confidence.
Our staff has an average of 5 years experience.
