If you currently are enrolled in our Bounce Protection Service, a new government regulation may impact the way you use your ATM and Debit Card. As of August 15, 2010, Progressive Bank can no longer provide the automatic Bounce Protection Services on your everyday ATM transactions or Debit Card purchases that you currently enjoy without prior authorization from you.
This means if you use your ATM or Debit Card (after August 15, 2010) and there is not enough money in your account to complete the transaction or if a deposit has not yet cleared, your Bounce Protection Service will not be taken into consideration and your purchase/transaction will be denied.
If you would like to keep this portion of the valuable service available to you in case of emergencies, you will need to specifically request with Progressive Bank that your current Bounce Protection Service be continued for ATM and Debit Card transactions.
