Infertility- the inability to have children as a result of sexual intercourse.
Laparoscopy- a minimally invasive procedure done to examine the abdominal cavity and pelvis. It is done usually to evaluate pelvic pain or gynecologic conditions such as an ovarian cyst. Surgery is usually same day and has a shorter recovery period.
Hysteroscopy- a method used to examine the inside of a womens womb (uterus) and the cervix using a viewing instrument.
Ultrasound - an imaging procedure used to examine internal female organs or your babys anatomy in which high-frequency sound waves are passed into the body, reflected back, and used to build an image; also sometimes called sonography and is considered safe.
Ablation a short hysteroscopic procedure that is used to treat women that suffer from heavy bleeding. The procedure destroys a thin layer of the lining of the womb (uterus).
Botox a cosmetic treatment that is quick and effective at reducing the appearance of facial wrinkles (lines).
Essure a permanent birth control that requires no surgical incision, return to normal activities within a few hours and can now be done in Dr. Campbells office.
Hysterectomy- surgical removal of the (womb) uterus, which can be done by laparoscopy, abdominally or vaginally.
