Putnam Acres is a skilled nursing facility and child care center offering individualized care for the young and old in a family-centered environment. Our knowledgeable team of dedicated staff, volunteers and community partners promote enhanced lifestyle opportunities through progressive care, specialized programs and unique services.

Thank you for your interest in our facility. At Putnam Acres Care Center, our staff takes pride in the compassionate and comprehensive care and services that we provide. Resident, children and family satisfaction, comfort, and safety are our top priorities.

The facility has been owned by the residents of Putnam County for over 140 years. Although the facility structure and services have changed over time, our mission to provide the highest quality service in a secure and comfortable atmosphere has remained the same.

We take pride in the care that we provide to our residents. The facility is staffed with compassionate professionals who are dedicated and trained to provide the highest quality health care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Each individual staff member is dedicated to meeting the individual needs of our residents.
In 2009, the facility added a childcare center to the services offered at the facility. The Putnam Acres Intergenerational Learning Center provided childcare services to children ages 6 week to 12 years. Intergenerational programming with the residents of the care center is an integral part of the daily routine at the facility.
