Weekend: A play about fragile lives
The University of Findlay will present "The Glass Menagerie" by Tennessee Williams at 8 p.m. Nov. 10-12 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 14 in the John and Hester Powell Grimm Theatre, located in the Egner Center for the Performing Arts.
Weekend: Trojans march to the end of another season
The Findlay Trojan Marching Band's season finale concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Main Gym at Findlay High School. The concert will feature the 125-member FTMB in concert performing its music from the 2010 season. The concert is free and open to the public; donations will be accepted.

District Boys Soccer: Van Buren rally falls short
MANSFIELD -- Mansfield Christian built a 4-0 cushion, but then had to survive a furious Van Buren rally to eke out a 4-3 victory over the Black Knights in the Division III boys district soccer finals at Mansfield Madison.
District Boys Soccer: Findlay routs Ashland, 8-1
Ashland opened the scoring but it was all Findlay after that as the Trojans stopped the Arrows 8-1 in a Division I district boys soccer final at Elmer Graham Stadium Saturday afternoon.
District Girls Soccer: Lexington nips FHS, 1-0
MANSFIELD -- Lexington senior Maggie Cox pounced on a loose ball in the box and punched it home to lift the Minutemen to a 1-0 win over Findlay High School in a Division I girls soccer district final at Mansfield Madison Saturday.

Private pesticide applicators will have their license categories reduced from 13 to seven on Monday. A pesticide license is required for farmers who use restricted-use pesticides.
