Hitchcock Woods is announcing their 25 years of service to the tri-county area. Hitchcock Woods is a full service Day Care, Pre-School and Chartered Kindergarten.
Hitchcock opened their doors in 1983 as a Day Care and Pre-School and has grown over the years to a full service Day Care which includes classes from 6wks to 12 years old. Hitchcock Woods is a premier school in the area and has been home away from home for more than 1250 children and their families. Pattie Welsh ( Director ) says, " The center prides themselves with the longevity of its staff members. We have staff members that have been with the center for 24 years." " They have watched the children progress through the infant center all the way to getting on the bus to enter 1st grade."
Along with the enriched pre-school and daycare programs, the center is very proud of their Chartered Kindergarten class. It is one of the few in the area to have an unique program of small class size and individual instruction for a highly recognized program.
