We are extremely proud of our longevity as a company, and of the long standing relationships we have established in the Dayton Ohio area over the years. M.J. Coates Homes opened its doors 40 years ago, and has now been passed down to the second generation. As a company, we have built over 900 custom homes, and expanded with a gravel/excavation division nearly 30 years ago. As a family, we have had the great honor to work with a tremendous group of sub-contractors and clients over the years whose individual visions and expertise have made us better and smarter with every home we have built. We are proud to call these people friends, and we believe they would call us the same. Over the years we have adapted with the changing market place, and have found our niche as a builder. We specialize in custom homes ranging from $450,000-$2,000,000. On average, we build 15 homes a year. Each one is customized to the owners specifications, and treated with the same consideration as if we were building our own home.
