Simply stated, the IICRC's purpose not only sets the industry standards, but establishes required course work and grants "accreditation" of schools and instructors. It certifies that individuals within the industry meet prescribed levels of proficiency based on training, education and experience. Our certifications earned through the IICRC include: Carpet Cleaning, Commerical Carpet Maintenance, Odor Control, Color Repair, Upholstery and Fabric Cleaning, and Carpet Repair and Reinstallation..
The CARPET CARETAKERS have also met the Carpet and Rug Institute standards, which include professional business ethics and professional standards for business integrity. After completing extensive testing our firm can proudly display the "Seal of Approval" logo.
In addition to these certifications, owners Doug and Deb Forestal have attended the Bane-Clene Institute in Indianapolis, IN where they have completed extensive schooling in carpet and upholstery techniques. Doug and Deb Forestal, of The Carpet Caretakers, feel continuing education is an essential part of their business in order to provide their customers with the industry's most up-to-date procedures when working with one's most valuable assets.
