Kingston Veterinary Hospital is a busy animal hospital opened in 1959 by Dr Charles Hardin. The original practice was predominantly a large animal practice. Over the years, the focus has changed to exclusively small animals.
In January, 2007, Dr Hardin sold his practice to Dr Pamela Jones. Dr Jones is proud of the Kingston Veterinary Hospital. We are committed to providing high-quality, affordable care. KVH is a progressive practice that offers an in-house blood analyzer, radiology, dentistry, orthopedics, artificial insemination, preventative medicine and surgery. We are a full-service hospital that can meet most any pets needs. We also offer boarding for our clients convenience.
Dr Jones hopes to break ground on our new hospital in the fall of 2010. We will be moving about 1 mile from our present location. We have outgrown this location and the new hospital will be at least four times our current square footage. Everyone is excited and we are all looking forward to the new hospital.
THE COST OF VETERINARY HEALTH CARE has only seen small increases in the past 30 years. When compared to the rising cost of human health care, pet care is still very reasonable, especially when you consider that your veterinarian is not only your pet's general physician, but also its radiologist, dentist, surgeon, dermatologist, opthalmologist, psychiatrist, neurologist and pharmacist. Your bill is a reflection of the cost of maintaining our hospital, equipment and support personnel to provide your pet with the best level of care.
