Dr. Terrence L. Ochterski - has dedicated his life to caring for animals. As a child his family raised and cared for dogs at a family-owned kennel, Suburban Animal Centre. At the age of 14 he began working his first job at Shaker Animal Hospital. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio State University in Animal Agriculture and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University completing internship programs at Oklahoma State University and the University of Ontario.
Dr. Ochterski ranked in the top 7% of all veterinarians in North America in clinical competency skills while still a senior veterinary student. Dr. Ochterski is a member of the Ohio Veterinary Medicine Association (OVMA) and American Veterinary Medical Association and continues to pursue knowledge of veterinary science by attending lectures at Ohio Veterinary Medical Conference and the North American Veterinary Conference.
Suburban Veterinary Clinic was founded in 1988 by Dr. Terrence Ochterski as part of Suburban Animal Centre. A boarding and grooming facility at 14830 Broadway in Maple Heights Ohio which has been family-owned since 1975. In 1991 Dr. Ochterski relocated the main clinic facility to 5257 Warrensville Center Road.
Alice Thompson - I am a graduate of Maple Heights High School. I have been working here at Suburban Veterinary Clinic for six years. I went into this line of work because of my love for animals. In my spare time I breed pugs and spend time with my own animals.
April Nagle - I have been in the animal care business for six and one half years. In addition, I have started attending college to become certified as a technician to further my knowledge and ability to provide the best care possible for pets and their owners. I also enjoy spending time with my three dogs and two cats.
Jamila Premph - Jamila is a junior Honors student at Brush High School. For her freshman and sophomore year she attended The Cleveland School of Arts and majored in Visual Arts. Jamila has been interning at the Suburban Veterinary Clinic for two summers and is now working part-time every Saturday. In her spare time she enjoys drawing, reading and helping out at the Suburban Veterinary Clinic. In the future Jamila wants to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine.
Cathy Warren - Cathy is an excellent groomer and loves to spend quality time with her clients. She calls them her Kings and Queens. Cathy does not cage dry her dogs and cats, she likes to hand dry to get that fluffy clean feel. She is also an artistic groomer and brings her skill and personality to every groom. The little Kings and Queens love her.
