Podiatry Associates of Erie, founded in 1970, established the Foot and Ankle Center as the first complete diagnostic and treatment center for all foot and ankle problems with offices in Erie, Meadville, PA and Conneaut, OH. These offices were established with the specific intent of providing optimum podiatric treatment, incorporating state-of-the-art medical technology while delivering old-fashioned patient concern and care, in cooperation with the local medical centers of each community. The doctor and staff continually participate in post-graduate courses and educational seminars to assure our patients of the most progressive foot and ankle care.
All treatment options for foot and ankle conditions are available though this office. All forms of basic care as well as the most advanced rehabilitative foot surgery are within the scope of our practice. Disorders commonly treated include fractures, sprains, infections, arch disorders, tumors, foot deformities such as bunions, hammertoes, corns, sport related injuries, and the many problem of children's growing feet. Many adult foot problems could have been prevented if corrected during childhood.
The initial appointment includes a thorough examination of the foot and ankle, x-rays if indicated, and an abbreviated medical history. The more comprehensive the examination, the more intelligently your problem can be diagnosed and treated.
