Every family we serve and each life lived is, in some way, special and unique. It is our desire through this web site to help you or someone you love express and remember that life. In this site we hope you will find helpful information about grief resources, ideas on planning a funeral or memorial service, information about our products and services, and ways to bring family and friends closer together through our online obituaries, email condolence program, and information for families about the Leavitt Family Center.
It has been a Leavitt tradition, since 1882, to support and nurture you in a warm, loving and professional atmosphere and in a thorough manner. As fifth generation funeral directors and owners we have been handed down a history to provide these ideas and practices to you and your family.
Our father, Carr K. Leavitt's commitment came from James 1:27, which states, "Pure and unspoiled religion in the eyes of God our Father is this; coming to the aid of the orphans and widows when they need it." and we continue this mission and commitment to serving families.
~ Jon and Stephen Leavitt, Owners and Funeral Directors

Join us during the month of November to help support the Wreaths Across America program (WAA). In 2009 The United States Congress unanimously decreed the second Saturday in December as; Wreaths Across America Day!
WAAs mission is to, Remember, Honor and Teach. This is carried out in part by placing wreaths on veterans graves during the Christmas Holiday Season. WAA ceremonies are held at over 400 locations in the USA and 24 offshore locations. Many volunteers, local leaders and sponsors help make this possible.
This year you have a choice to adorn your local veterans grave or sponsor a wreath to be placed at a National cemetery. Please place all orders by November 28th, 2010. Local orders may be picked up around December 8th. National ceremonies are December 11th, 2010. Call for more information on how to sponsor a wreath 304-422-6459.
