Public Hearing on Resolution of Intent to Designate Solid Waste Facilites and Investigation for Designation

On October 28, 2010, the Ashland County Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution stating the Board's intention to designate one or more solid waste facilities to receive solid waste generated within the Ashland County Solid Waste Management District in accordance with section 343.014 of the Revised Code. There will be a public hearing concerning the Board's Resolution of Intent to Designate on November 18, 2010, at 9:15 a.m., at the offices of the Ashland County Commissioners, 110 Cottage Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805-2114.

There is a vacancy on the Kno-Ho-Co Governing Board representing the private sector. Interested candidates should have a background in business, industry, labor, education or human resources. Letters of application should be submitted to the Commissioners' Office.

The adopted county budget for calendar year 2011 for Ashland County is available for public inspection on weekdays at the County Commissioners Office, 110 Cottage Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.
