Square One, Inc. was founded in March 1994.
The company had witnessed the changes in the City over the past several decades with both concern and anticipation. Building upon experience acquired with leading architectural firms in both Ohio and the nation, Square One was established to participate and contribute in the rebirth of neighborhoods across Cleveland.
Square One seeks to provide experienced and professional architectural services to people on a neighborhood scale. Accordingly, much of the firm's workload is directly involved in Cleveland neighborhood development - including the design and construction of in-fill scattered site production housing units, single family custom homes, and small commercial projects in the Collinwood, Detroit-Shoreway, Fairfax, Glenville, Mt. Pleasant and Union-Miles Communities.
In addition, the firm has been involved with the design of Magnetic Resonance Imaging suites and other medical suites in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, San Antonio, Texas and Cleveland, Ohio.
Our firm has also completed a number of barbershops, beauty salons and storefront renovations throughout Greater Cleveland.

SOA has completed a 6,000 square foot facility for Kenner Child Development Center in the Union Miles community of Cleveland as a design-build project with LonColeman Corporation.
Completed a 3,000 square foot facility for Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church at
E. 55th and Utica. The project consisted of renovating an existing 2,500 square foot commercial building and designing a new 1,500 square foot addition.
Completed a 1,225 square foot addition onto the Toddle Inn Childcare Center in Cleveland Hts. The project also included the design of a new 5,000 square foot parking lot and 1,000 square foot playground area.
