Welcome to Historic Woodlawn Cemetery where winter is a season of glorious beauty.

Historic Woodlawn Cemetery is the final resting place of 65,000 individuals including many of Toledo's most prominent families. The cemetery, which has provided more than 133 years of service to the community, still includes 47 acres of undeveloped land. It continues to be an active cemetery with more than ample space for its next 133 years.

Its 160 verdant, wooded acres also provide a nesting habitat to a rich variety of birds. Woodlawn contains many architectural landmarks including the area's most extensive collection of private mausoleums, which are part of the rich history that attracts genealogists and history buffs to the cemetery.
