Making the connection between kindness to animals and kindness to fellow man
The mission of the Auglaize County Humane Society is to provide a safe and sheltering environment for the homeless animals of today, encourage kindness and responsibility toward the pets of tomorrow, and foster through the education of our children a compassion for all living creatures, both man and animal.
Hank came to us in June of 2009 when someone left him in our pens outside. Hank lived with his very best friend, Buster the beagle, until Buster left for a rescue and found a forever home earlier this year. Hank was sad when Buster left.
Then Hank started to turn into a good luck charm! Ever since Buster left, any dog who became Hank's buddy has been adopted.
Now it's finally Hank's turn to find a new home. Hank spends his days being lazy around the house. Hank enjoys stealing the whole box of pizza off of the table and snuggling in his bed with his blanket. We are so happy for Hank and his new family!
