We are proud to offer the best in child care. As a high quality center that will be both structured and nurturing, we will prepare children for the next developmental stage of their lives, from infant to school age or in other words, from Babies 2 Books.

Your children will have a safe and nurturing environment where they can express themselves and feel respected and cared for at all times, while learning through every aspect of their day.

Babies 2 Books - Excellence in Childcare is a state-of-the-art childcare facility that opened its doors in August of 2006.

Located at 1865 N. Ridge Road in Painesville Township, we are just seconds from the Fairport Nursery Road Exit of Route 2 (near the intersection of Route 20 and Bacon Roads).

Our center is open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Accepting children from 6 weeks to school age. Our seven classrooms allow for age and developmentally appropriate play and learning (6 weeks to one year; 12-18 months; 18-24 months; 2’s; 3’s; 4’s; and school-agers).
At Babies 2 Books, children are encouraged to learn through social play, but they are also able to excel developmentally through our curriculum. Each classroom offers a lesson plan for their age group. Daily schedules and developmental checklists are posted in each classroom. Twice yearly parents receive Ages & Stages Questionnaires on their child’s development, and one is also prepared by the child’s teacher.
Our high standards of care include an extremely low teacher-to-child ratio, not combining age groups, and staff members with credentials well beyond state requirements. Babies 2 Books staff are diverse in age and backgrounds and are attending continuing education classes. They believe in nurturing children by giving them room to develop their own personalities, by listening to them, by helping them make the right choices and by challenging them to learn.
In our pursuit of excellence, Babies 2 Books encourages family involvement. There is a monthly newsletter, at least semi-annual family meetings, and parents are encouraged to make suggestions. There is an open-door policy at all times. The safety of our children is of high priority so our center is secure with a coded entry door.
