The Ohio Academy of Pet Styling offers a well rounded curriculum that includes dog grooming theory, demonstrations, and practical skills training. Real world experiences include industry workshops, seminars, and dog grooming shows.
The Educational Director and Head Instructor is the world renowned Gail Rudowicz Schroll, MPS, Meritus. Three time GroomTeam USA Member, she is also recognized as the only Pet Stylist to achieve the titles of both International Dog Groomer of the Year (twice) and International Creative Dog Groomer. Gail was also awarded the title U.S. Dog Grooming Champion, and was a two-time National Winner, as well as multiple Best Dog in Show, Best All-Around Dog Groomer, and Best Scissored Dog in Show awards. She was awarded the prestigious Cardinal Crystal Achievement Award for American Dog Groomer of the Year.
Her expertise as a breeder, handler, and trainer includes all breeds, specializing in and finishing many champion Collies and Poodles (all three varieties), as well as Shih Tzus, Keeshonden, Brussels Griffons, Shetland Sheepdogs, and Pomeranians.
Gail has been involved in the Dog Grooming Industry for 28 years, with extensive experience as a salon owner/operator. She is a featured author and speaker throughout the United States, Canada, Japan, England, Germany and New Zealand.
