Welcome to Ridgewood United Methodist Church
Our mission is to make disciples by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
We are conveniently located on Ridge Road in Parma, Ohio. Join us for Sunday services, and for many other activities for both young and old at other times as well. We welcome everyone, no matter who you are. If you are looking for your spiritual niche in life, you just might find it here.
Ridgewood offers an excellent Youth program, geared to children and young people from Kindergarten through High School. With many opportunities for involvement, as well as spiritual growth, this is a great place for young people to find some good, clean fun and make some awesome friends! We also offer plenty of opportunities for involvement to adults as well. We have a variety of groups and organizations that you can join and you are sure to find something that is just right for you. You can even get involved with the youth programs with your children and share in that experience with them.
We are also very proud of our music ministry. In addition to our Chancel Choir, we have two Youth Choirs, a mens' singing group, a chime choir and, of course, Puppets and Beyond. Congregants with musical talent are always welcome and encouraged to share their gift with the congregation on Sundays through Special Music by talking to the Music Director. We are proud of the range of talent present in our congregation!
Ridgewood participates actively in a variety of outreach programs, including the Interfaith Hospitality Network. We believe in sharing whatever we can with others who are less fortunate than ourselves. Our youth has several fundraising projects to help out on different levels where needed, be it by sponsoring a child overseas, or by attending an annual summer Work Camp mission trip, during which they are actively involved in helping others repair their homes, installing wheelchair ramps, and the like.
