AERATION: Core cultivation - This is a mechanical cultivation practice that aids in a healthier lawn without the use of chemicals or fertilizer.
PROCESS: Mechanically makes a hole in turf approximately 2-1/2" to 3" deep and pulls a core of soiland thatch to surface which dissolves

Roots are able to grow deeper and stronger
Microbes in soil that is pulled to surface help reduce thatch build-up

Can be done almost any time, except during extended dry periods or when ground is frozen
