JKO is the premier Karate-Do Organization, which teaches authentic, traditional Karate-Do with a direct lineage to the founder of Shito-Ryu. The recent popularity in martial arts has resulted in the commercialization of the art and the exploitation of it by self-promoted instructors. Our instructional curriculum is the result of tradition. Shito-Ryu is one of the four major styles of Karate-Do practiced in the world today. Our affiliation to the heir of the founder of Shito-Ryu, Kenzo Mabuni, confirms that our instructional methodology and idealology are from the original and authentic Karate-Do.Our methods are accepted and practiced worldwide.
Shito-Ryu has the greatest number and most comprehensive Katas. The style has served us well. Shito-Ryu students have dominated in world competitions.

Traditional Karate-Do training provides the most effective means of self defense. Our curriculum and techniques include punching, thrusting, striking, hitting, kicking, sweeping, throwing grappling, choking and takedowns. No other martial art provides such a variety of movements and techniques.
Most importantly, our goal is to make our members mentally and physically strong and enhance their peer pressure-resistance skills. Finally, every JKO member is taught to apply our Dojo Kun (pledge) in their daily life, which benefits both the individual and society.
