HAVEL'S RELEASES THE NEW ECHOTUOHY ECHOGENIC TUOHY EPIDURAL NEEDLE
As the market leader in echogenic insulated needle technology, weve again added to our growing EchoLine of products. The new EchoTuohy Echogenic Tuohy Epidural Needle has Micro Laser Etching (MLE) near the tip to reflect sound waves back to the transducer, making the tip visible under ultrasound. The EchoTuohy will be used for ultrasound guided peripheral nerve blocks, epidural catheter placement, and epidural steroid injections. With the improvements in ultrasound image quality, many are looking to ultrasound for help in reducing radiation exposure. Those switching to ultrasound guided epidural steroid injections can use Havels EchoTuohy to precisely guide their injections to the target.
In July Havels released four other ultrasound needles, the EchoBlock PTC, EchoBlock PTC30, AccuTarg Quincke, and AccuTarg Chiba. These needles also have the Micro Laser Etching (MLE) making their tips visible under ultrasound as well.
EchoTuohy Echogenic Tuohy Epidural Needles
The EchoTuohy needle features Micro Laser Etching (MLE) near the tip to reflect sound waves back to the transducer, making the tip visible under ultrasound. MLE technology allows for a variety of sizes and the ability to pass catheters or wires through the cannula.
EchoBlock PTC Echogenic Needles with Micro Laser Etching
Features Micro Laser Etching (MLE) near the tip to reflect sound waves back to the transducer. It does not indent the cannula. Has a stylet since the inner diameter is not affected. Completely encircles the tip of the needle so all sides appear bright under ultrasound.
EchoStim Echogenic Insulated Ultrasound Needles
Features a patented corner cube reflector (CCR) to provide multi-angled surfaces for maximum reflection even at steep angles. Needles can be used with or without Ultrasound Guidance.
